Programmed to keep it real and deliver official clothing, Brooklyn Robot is the underground brand doing their thing! Starting off with the launch of their mens line in 2008 BKR has been pushing their clothing at the Dunk Exchange and other sneaker culture events. “We represent BKR as a positive brand”, says designer Jasmine Marrero. In order to promote positivity there are, stitched on most of their mens shirts, both motivational and inspirational quotes.

Brooklyn Robot now brings you their new 2010 ladies collection featuring several sweater and shirt designs with BKR embroidery on them. You can make a purchase on their site or even meet with a BKR rep if you’re in NYC. “I believe in customer service, my one on one interaction with my customers (has) more of a long term effect”, points out Jasmine. Also, look out for BKR’s new mens collection titled, “Generation Pro”

Is this forreal I don’t find this to be fashion you guys could’ve put better clothing for women I don’t find this appealing i’m offended to ever see a woman wear that. But the site overall is good just not this clothing line.

  • manwithnoface says:

^^ lol I don’t think this is that bad for an “upcoming brand”.
    Something a little different.

  • PhotoQueen says:

clothes look fresh but its hard to really see them, the photos dont enhance the clothes…would like to see more of the female line

    peace and love

  • SimonSays says:

Hey a manwithnoface its my opinion & this is why street wear gets a bad rep because of items that look like a grandma sweater thats not comfotable looking they should try again & see how to do not so much detail on the fabric and worry about comfort a manwithnoface do you like to be comfortable or do you like extra material & and extra designs because i dont lol ” Upcoming Brand MY ASS

  • minataur says:

thats not different at all. its sad that now and days, ANYBODY could download photoshop and be a “designer”.

  • MsDreamer says:

DOPE!!! I am sooo feeling this! This is different!

  • NYCisME says:

I find it hilarious that people take the time out the day to make negative comments about an article of clothing I’m sure you havent even had the opportunity to feature in person nor try on. The fact that indivduals such as Brooklyn Robot had the foresight to even put their foot forward and produce something is commendable in itself. If you look at many stretwear brands who are established, it took them a couple of years to get a footing on their brand direction. It takes time and effort. More time it took for those indivduals on this site to post negative energy which is very unfortunate.

If you don’t like what you see, or have nothing productive to say than you should A) Keep it to yourself than B) Do it better.

    However to each his own.

  • buzz says:

Lmao simon you are a fool. it doesn’t look that bad.

  • minataur says:

dont mix negativity with truth. artistically speaking the designs are bad. cmon look the typeface on that shirt and hat. and dont get me started on the logo.

  • WordsOfWisdom says:

Whats the meaning behind B.K.R being stitched into a shirt? How does it represent your BRAND?

  • DS RIC' says:

Keep moving forward…There is a lot more to be done, but you are taking the right steps.

  • MsDreamer says:

People say a lot of things behind a computer screen. If your so concerned about a what a designer puts on clothes, why not hit up that person to get a REAL answer.

  • DONT WORRIE says:

ALL I HAVE TOO SAY IS…HATER!!!!!YALL TALK LIKE YA SELLIN SOMETHING..

  • Simonyounotreal says:

Aw man so I just read what Simon said and I’m thinking you need to go somewhere with all that negativity. At least they are trying and that takes a lot of guts for people to come out with a clothing line, especially this day in age. The photography skills were amazing it really catches the essence and beauty of Brooklyn and the detail of the clothing. The models you can tell brought there own style to the clothing they rocked too and that’s cool and what NYC is all about which is turning simple clothing into something spectacular which is what they seem to be gearing towards. They just started and I’m sure with time they will come out with something that will shock people if this isn’t to your liking. Everything takes time. May God Bless this brand and I hope it makes its mark in NYC fashion we need more of your kind.

  • simplythetruth says:

It’s not negativity at all. I believe that there is something you can gain from all this. In the future if your gonna do something, come RIGHT. Don’t half ass it. This was done carelessly. When you come correctly theres not a damn thing people could say except give luv ;) don’t take it personally just up ya’ game. And, I don’t, at all, doubt your ability to do so ;)

  • VictoriaDontTellNobody says:

WTF these clothes are horrid, look like a blind grandma sewed this while she was on crack. The name doesn’t match the clothing at all and Brooklyn Robot? cmon its a total Brooklyn Industries Kid Robot rip off. Ive seen some real up and coming clothing and this is DEFFFFF not one of them.

  • @VictoriaDontTellNobody says:

    Victoria…

    I won’t tell anyone that you’re not constructive, just simply a hater…
