“In Your Face” | Art Exhibition

“In Your Face” is a solo exhibition brought to you by artist Christopher James Wilson, who is known for his beautiful and meticulously detailed 2-dimensional oil paintings. Christopher has already been acknowledged for his first series, the Global Citizen Project in which he captured different people from around the world with stories on their hardships and glory in America. Christopher’s wife Nubia Duvall interviewed many people for the project and Chris captured the essence of the interviewees by painting from candid photos he took during the interviews. Now he will be releasing the “In Your Face series” through large scale oil paintings expressing sexuality, voyeurism, and solitude. The opening reception for In Your Face will be in New York on June 17th and will be showcased until June 26th at New Century Artist Gallery on 530 west 25th street.
