Blackberry Empathy: An Emotional ConversationJungle Buzz — By Nate Santos on November 30, 2010 at 11:18 pm
Slowly but surely RIM keeps making improvements on devices baring the BlackBerry stamp. The worlds most respected name in smart phones has some new gadget tricks in the works with a new mobile phone called BlackBerry Empathy currently in development. The forward moving concept behind the Empathy is that it comes equipped with a biometric ring that is able to pinpoint the mood that you and your contacts are in at a given moment, and then make that mood known to the rest of your network. This begs the question will we ever call someone again and ask “is this a bad time?”
Knowing how the people in your address book are feeling isn’t the only advancement that tech savvy talkers have to look forward to. The phones inner parts are encased with a unique transparent shell while it’s not in use. Once the user grabs hold of the phone, it suddenly has a mood swing of it’s own and coverts to a dark shade of black. A Powermat style charger will also come with the phone that can renew battery life in both the phone and the removable biometric ring. The BlackBerry Empathy features a QWERTY keyboard and all other standard BB features that “crackberry” addicts can’t live without.
