Air Starks Print by Salehe Black

Less than 24 hours ago, skilled illustrator Salehe Black dropped his 2nd installment in his series of New York Knicks illustrations. The latest one is titled “Air Starks” and captures famed Knicks guard, #3, John Starks levitating above outreached Chicago Bulls’ arms en route to a classic dunk. The image is a pivotal one in Knicks history. The arms below belong to Horace Grant and Michael Jordan, whose faces Salehe chose not to include in the illustration simply to emphasize that the focus of the artwork is on the Knicks and shouldn’t be interpreted as otherwise.

The “Air Starks” print is available for purchase but is limited to just 100 copies. If you’d like to own this iconic sports art then you should act now (the artist’s Ewing piece sold out in two days). Salehe was also commissioned to doa piece called “Welcome Amar’e” earlier this year which is actually not part of his series of historic moments in Knicks history. Some of these great pieces have even been featured on the official Knicks blog.

The “Air Starks” print is available in the following dimensions:

11×17 print = $25
18×24 print = $75
24×36 print = $100
