Mr. MFN eXquire – “Lost In Translation” – Album

First off i would like to say shout out to Danny Brown for putting me on to this dude. Ever since Mr Muthafuckin eXquire dropped the video for “Huzzah” people have been awaken, awaken by something familiar and that is realness. This album right here is something very special, it contains a lot of life experiences, everything from eXquire dropping out of school to him receiving a blow job on wax (see track 5). There are no special features or big name producers on here, it’s just him and his close homies that got together and created some ill sh*t recorded out of an apartment. The beats on here are very out of the ordinary and rugged, it’s almost like they were tailored made for him.

There are a lot of tracks that will grasp your attention quick, he says a lot of things that the average rapper would be scared to say. He’s not scared to talk about where he came from or his life conditions, he also doesn’t hesitate to get animated either. You can tell he was the type of kid that would get in trouble for cursing at the teacher in school, this music is so experimental, it’s almost like listening to gangsta rap in church. While listening to this album i didn’t even think about hitting the skip button, in fact i had to repeat a couple of joints on here. All in all this is a great project and i strongly recommend you to download this if you enjoy real music with substance.
