Classic Sessions NYC: Ur New York VS. T.Shirt (Recap)

Last night Reebok and Reedspace introduced a new art vs music workshop series. Starting it off was the art duo UR New York and the Queens emcee T.Shirt. The workshop is there to show how music inspires art and how art inspires music. UR New York’s installation was inspired by a song off T.Shirt’s “The Fu*k” album entitled “Puerto Rican Rum”, it reminded me of New York says 2esae of UR New York. At the last hour of the event T.Shirt performed 4 songs off his album to close the workshop. Reedspace founder Jeff Staple announced that there will be more of these art vs music workshops going until April and maybe even further than that. This particular one will be up for a month so go and check it out.
