The NYC Municipal Archives recently unveiled over 1 million unseen old NYC photos online, since then the site has been down for a while due to heavy traffic. But here are some golden photos out of the large stash, these photos uncover Old Williamsburg, way before the hipsters and thrift shops arrived and even before the Williamsburg bridge was built. You’ll see photos ranging from the mid 1900′s up to the time when Ed Koch was the mayor in NYC, and that’s around the 1970′s. Enjoy the photos.
