Stuntin’ To The Max Like “Wayvee”!

The Auckland, New Zealand native Wayvee has been a producer of interest ever since being passed along the classic Aaliyah track “Rock the Boat” that had been remixed by Wayvee to a lush, slow motion tune. Taking time to listen to only a few tracks that are available on Wayvees’ Soundcloud, as well as an Extended Playlist produced in collaboration with 8th Supply it didn’t take long to appreciate, and give a well deserved highlight to the ambient trap producer, Wayvee.
As of lately, we’ve been bombarded with trap music. Although it has rightly become a new genre that fits the mood for certain occasions, it is sometimes good to take some time to just vibe to something a bit more low-key that may have the same effects, but in a different way. Wayvee has established a sultry vibe of the arguably over-loved basic trap beat; tracks like “Insensitive”, “Three Stages Away (A.F.)”, and “Black Magic” are prime examples of this and Wayvees abilities.
It may be a surprise to you, as it was for me; to find out Wayvee doesn’t have a large following even with his consistent release of his wonderful production. You, as the faithful reader of Jungle Gym Magazine have the power change that and give recognition and appreciation where it’s well deserved.
